Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013

It's kinda hard to believe, but the year we've been looking foward to for the past seven years just went by in a rush: Graduation year. Ever since we entered school, it was our goal to get our "Abitur" (general qualification for university entrance) and now, we've done it! Seven years of seeing the same faces everyday, seven years of sitting in class, seven years of taking tests and exames. And now it's all gone. Going to school will definitely be one of the greatest times of our lives.

But gradutating was not the only great thing that happened last year. We went to the Watch The Throne concert in Frankfurt! Yes, we actually saw Kanye West und Jay-Z performe live! Still can't wrap our heads around it. It was the best show we've ever been to. We actually thought they'd leave the stage after an hour, but they played for about two hours! And not only the show was good. Although we didn't know the other people around, it actually felt like we actually did know them. We were all there for the same reason and there's nothing more satisfying than being around people that are just like you. Definitely one of the best days ever!

Another great experience we made last year was traveling together. After graduation, we decided not to join most of the rest of our year to their trip to Mallorca, but went to Den Haag for a nice and relaxed summer vacation. And that was the best decision ever! Summer, sun, beach, cocktails, shopping, flea und juck markets, nice bars... It was definitely one of the best trips we've went on together.

There are many other things we did together in the past 12 months, but those three things were definitely the highlights! A few years ago we talked about 2012 like it's still a billion of years away. Now it's something that is behind us. Kind of scary how fast time flies.

Now it's 2013 (that sounds so futuristic!) and we're ready to take it on! New year, new paths, new goals.
University, different cities, traveling, concerts... living the dreams. Bring it on, 2013!
